(About Gabriel) 2022 Young Guns finalist Gabriel Novis has spent years exploring diverse corners of the world, and that sense of discovery lives at the heart of his filmmaking. Whether shooting in remote villages or bustling urban centers, he brings an intimate, human perspective to every frame. His approach is rooted in storytelling that evokes emotion, curiosity, and a strong sense of place. Novis excels at crafting nuanced portraits that resonate with audiences and elevate brand narratives, striking a balance between documentary realism and elevated aesthetics.

As both a director and director of photography, Novis has collaborated with some of the world’s leading brands, including Nike, Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Corona, Oakley, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Getty Images, and Rémy Martin. He adapts easily to different cultures and styles, focusing less on imposing a look and more on building a connection with the story he is telling.
